Inside a drab computer lab at the Johns Hopkins University, a team of researchers is trying to build something that has never existed before: a digital currency that changes hands completely in secret. Its name is Zerocoin.
The untraceable currency is designed to compete with other virtual moneys such as Bitcoin, which are drawing attention as alternatives for businesses and individuals — and drawing criticism from some who believe they enable money laundering and other criminal activity.

Texas Congressman Announces He Will Accept Campaign Donations in Bitcoin.
Wow. How awesome is this?
When Texas Rep. Steve Stockman announced recently that he'll accept donations in bitcoins, he raised some eyebrows.
Stockman, a conservative who is challenging incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the Republican primary in March, has already had some run ins with the Federal Election Commission over campaign finance issues — so he may not be the ideal political spokesman for a currency that has no centralized network or official physical form.
Still, Stockman appeared in a Dec. 31 Youtube video expressing support for the virtual currency: "I really think digital money is more about freedom," he said, adding that bitcoin is "a fixed amount of currency at a fixed rate, so very good for the markets." According to Business Insider, he said his Senate campaign would show support by accepting bitcoin donations.
Setting aside the question of Stockman's longshot candidacy, his announcement raised a question that has rarely been asked before: In political campaigns, what are bitcoins worth?

Gain - Earn $ by predicting bitcoin price.
What Is Gain?
Gain is a "game" that lets you predict whether the currency exchange between two currencies will rise or fall. If you prediction is correct then you gain points. If you are incorrect, you lose points. The sum of your points from 5 different markets become your total score. Your total score decides your place in the weekly user board and depending on your place, that is how much money you gain. You are allowed to cash out when your balance reaches at least $30. They do send it in a business transaction so fees will be needed. I cashed out at $30.27 and received $28.79.
What Makes Gain So Easy?
If you know what you're doing on this site (experience in forex trading or stock predictions), you can make BANK. If you have no idea what you're doing you can literally guess the answer as there are only 2 choices: Up or Down. With only 2 choices, and a grand total of 5 different currency exchange areas, it would take only 2 minutes at the start of each week to set your choices. After this, you don't have to touch it for the rest of the week!

Earn Bitcoin Viewing Websites
One of my favorite ways to earn Bitcoin is by using sites that pay you Bitcoin to view a website for 1-5 minutes. The best part is that the websites I am going to show you today don't require you to stay focused on the window. So, you can surf to the required site, enter your captcha, and then do whatever you want for the next 5 minutes all while earning Bitcoin. It really is a great way to earn some extra BTC and they pay much better than faucets.
